Join ADC’s Annual Membership Meeting Monday

ADC’s annual Membership Meeting will take place Monday from 8:30 to 9 a.m. Eastern time, before the kickoff of the Defense Communities National Summit, which runs Monday through Wednesday at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, Virginia.

The agenda will include an update on the state of the association, a federal outreach briefing and a board election.

Board Election

This year, the membership will elect seven board members. ADC’s Nomination Committee selected the slate of board candidates. Five current board members with terms expiring this year are recommended for re-election to three-year terms, each expiring in 2027:

  • Tom Ford, North Dakota (currently serving as ADC Vice President)
  • Kimberly Huth, Illinois
  • Scott Norton, Texas (currently serving as ADC Treasurer)
  • Stacey Shepard, Virginia
  • Jerrod Wheeler, Missouri

Two individuals are recommended to fill existing board vacancies and serve for the remainder of the unexpired terms:

  • Elaine Bryant, Ohio, for a two-year term expiring in 2026
  • Keith Graf, Texas, for a one-year term expiring in 2025
